PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) While issuing notice of motion on 16th of December, 2022 following order was passed :- "Apprehending their arrest in FIR No.93 dated 23.11.2022, registered under Sections 458/323/325/427/148/149 of the IPC at Police Station City Sherpur, District Sangrur, petitioners seek pre-arrest bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that grievous injury has been found to be on the body of the complainant Malkeet Kaur and the same is attributed to Gurmeet Singh. The only allegation against the present petitioners is that they were part of an unlawful assembly.

Notice of motion returnable for 17.04.2023.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Cheema, DAG, Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on interim bail subject to their furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/ Investigating Officer. Ld. State Counsel on instructions from ASI Charanjit Singh submits that in view of compromise between the parties custodial interrogation of the petitioners is no more required. 3.

In the circumstances, the order dated 06.12.2022 is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Sections 438(2) Cr.P.C.
