Petitioner, in this case, seeks regularization of her services from 01.04.2011 instead of 21.08.2014. It is stated that petitioner was appointed as Sweeper on part time basis in August, 1986 and her services were regularized on 21.08.2014. It is stated that employees junior to the petitioner have been regularized w.e.f. 01.04.2011 vide order dated 30.11.2012. Petitioner, it is stated, represented before the authorities and even issued legal notice but when no action was taken, present writ petition was filed.

As per short reply dated 27.08.2019 filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3, services of the petitioner have been regularized w.e.f. 01.04.2011 alongwith arrears for this period vide order dated 05.07.2019 attached as Annexure R1 with the short reply. It is further stated that pay of the petitioner has been verified and re-fixed by the concerned Section officer w.e.f. 01.04.2011 to 01.07.2018.              Learned counsel for the State submits that in this view of the matter, this writ petition is rendered infructuous. Though there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, however, keeping in view the specific averments in the short reply dated 27.08.2019 filed on behalf of the respondents, I find no ground for continuance of the present proceedings.
