(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the pay scale of Rs.10300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3200 with an initial pay of Rs.13500 w.e.f. 01.12.2011 and further re-fixation of basic pay w.e.f. 01.01.2016 extending the benefit of 6th Pay Commission Punjab. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondent authorities/Corporation to decide the representation/claims dated 10.10.2024 (Annexure P-16), within a time bound manner.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to first approach the competent authority for redressal of their grievances.
