**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Petitioners are seeking direction to the respondents to grant them deemed date of promotion (along with all consequential benefits) on the post of Junior Engineer w.e.f 22.09.2015 (petitioner Nos. 1 to 9) and w.e.f 26.02.2016 (for petitioner No. 10) in the light of Rule 5.5.1 of respondent's recruitment and promotion policy (P-1). Petitioners were directly recruited on the post of Shift Attendant in 2009 and joined the Nigam service on 22.09.2010. At the time of joining Nigam, they were having the technical qualification i.e 03 years diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. The case of the petitioners is covered in the light of Rule 5.5.1 of respondent's recruitment and promotion policy (P-1). In this regard, the petitioners have given representation dated 12.03.2018 and reminder dated 22.06.

2018 (P-5 colly) but no action has been taken till date. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is being disposed of by giving a direction to respondents to decide the representation dated 12.03.2018 and reminder dated 22.06.2018 (P-5 colly) and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, expeditiously.
