Grievance raised in the writ petition is regarding improper rejection of nomination papers of petitioner. There is further prayer for stay of process of elections to the Gram Panchayat as declared vide notification dated 19.09.2024 during pendency of the writ petition.

It is to be noted that election in question has since been held.
