Complainant has made a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana on 24.10.2019. He seeks direction for registration of FIR against the accused named in his complaint.

This petition has no merits for the reasons; firstly, the police is competent to inquire into the allegations levelled in the complaint before registration of the FIR; secondly, petitioner has not provided enough time to the police to inquire into the same; and thirdly, petitioner, if not satisfied with the action taken by the police, could avail the remedy as provided under Section 156(3) CR.P. C. or can file a complaint in Court. No reason is made out to give direction to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana or any other police authority to register the FIR on the complaint of petitioner.

Dismissed.
