On 08.12.2022, the following order was passed:- "It is contended by learned counsel for the revisionist Sunil Madaan who is respondent in a ejectment petition filed by Dron Puri against him pending before Rent Controller, Jalandhar, the defence of respondent was struck off vide impugned order dt. 28.10.2021 for nonfiling of written statement within a period of 90 days.
It is contended that non-filing of the written statement was not intentional or willful but on account of lack of communication between the revisionist and his counsel and for the reason beyond control of the revisionist. 2024:PHHC:007168 Civil Revision No. 5767 of 2022 (O&M) "In the meanwhile, proceedings in the trial Court may go on but final order in the case may not be pronounced." 2.
It is admitted by the learned counsel representing the respondent that recording of the landlord's evidence is yet to start. 3.
Though from the persual of the interim orders passed by the Court, it is evident that the petitioner was granted repeated opportunities, however, keeping in view the stage of the case, the petitioner is granted one opportunity to file the written statement, subject to payment of cost of ₹5,000/-.

With the observations made above, the present revision petition is disposed of.

The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, shall stand disposed of.
