The instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking quashing of order dated 18.10.2023 (Annexure P/8), whereby the services of the petitioner have been terminated w.e.f. 28.10.2023. The petitioner also sought directions for restraining the respondents concerned from dispensing her services.

It is not under dispute that the petitioner is an employee of a Private Aided College of the State of Punjab. Therefore, for the relief, as sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has appropriate efficacious alternative remedy of filing an appeal before the Educational Tribunal, Punjab. Confronted with this situation, counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to transfer the case of the petitioner to the Court of Educational Tribunal. 2023:PHHC:138004 CWP No. 24499 of 2023 -2request cannot be accepted as there is no provision available under the Punjab Affiliated Colleges (Security of Service) Act, 1974 to transfer her petition to the Tribunal concerned. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition to avail alternative remedy by filing appeal before the Educational Tribunal concerned.

The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
