(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.107 dated 14.10.2023 under Sections 420, 406, 506, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala. 2.

Vide order dated 26.10.2023, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the allegations in the FIR (Annexure P-8), the alleged amount of Rs.38.00 lacs has been handed over to the main accused namely Chetan Goyal, who is related as husband of the present petitioner.

He further submits that petitioner has been alleged to be present in her house at the time of handing over an amount of Rs.8 lacs by the complainant to her husband Chetan Goyal in the presence of his son Simran Singh and Amritpal Singh. Thus, counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact, PUNEET SACHDEVA 2024.02.12 14:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 26.10.2023, the petitioner has joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. 4.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Gurvinder Singh, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He on further instructions submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for her custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 26.10.2023, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
