RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.101, dated 06.07.2024, under Sections 22, 25 (Sections 29, 61, 85 added later on) of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court and file an appropriate application there. He further prays that direction be issued to learned trial Court to decide his bail application in a time bound manner.

Allowed as prayed for.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. In case the petitioner surrenders before the concerned Court within seven days from today and applies for regular bail, the Court concerned would decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within three days from the date of its filing.
