HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C is for issuance of direction to the official respondents to take action against respondents No.4 to 6 in case FIR No.99 dated 10.09.2022, registered under Sections 379-B, 341 and 323 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Badali Ala Singh, District Fatehgarh Sahib or in the alternative to hand over the case to some independent agency. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, who has put in appearance on advance copy of petition having been served upon him, on instructions from ASI Kapil Kumar, Police Station Badali Ala Singh, District Fatehgarh Sahib, submits that the FIR in question has been cancelled on 12.11.2022.

In view thereof, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail other remedies available under law.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
