**** LISA GILL, J.
Learned counsel for the petitioners had been granted last opportunity on 27.05.2022 to place on record evidence which was produced before the authority to substantiate the contention that the house in question was constructed prior to the year 1980. The matter was adjourned to 23.08.2022 on request. Needful was not done despite last opportunity, however, as there was a request for adjournment on 23.08.2022 on the ground that arguing counsel for the petitioners is suffering from COVID-19, matter was adjourned for today and last opportunity was afforded to address arguments.
Today, despite the matter being called twice, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter any longer. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed in default. (LISA GILL) JUDGE (HARSH BUNGER) 12.10.2022 JUDGE Sunil Whether speaking/reasoned:
