The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.51, dated 10.08.2022, registered under Sections 15, 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Bakshiwala, District Patiala.

Learned State counsel submits that the custody of the petitioner is only 8 months and 6 days and is involved in 11 more cases under NDPS Act. This fact is though disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner stating that he has been convicted in 3 NDPS cases and does not have any information regarding the other cases, however, prays for withdrawal of the present petition at this stage. 3.
