(Oral) Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-fix the pension of the petitioner in pay Band 4 (Rs.37,400 - 67,000) w.e.f. 01.09.2009 in terms of notification dated 19.08.2009 (Annexure P-8) with all consequential benefits. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon notification dated 19.08.2009 (Annexure P-8) and judgment dated 06.08.2025 passed in CWP No.16483 of 2018 titled as S.P.Sood vs. State of Haryana and other connected matter (Annexure P-11) and prays for deciding the representation dated 01.09.2023 (Annexure P-9) filed by the petitioner, which is pending since long, expeditiously by passing a speaking order in a timebound manner. 3.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Sushil Bhardwaj, Addl. AG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents and submits that the representation filed by the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

In view of the afore-said stand of the learned counsel for the State, the present petition is disposed of with directions that the representation dated 01.09.2023 (Annexure P-9) pending before respondent No.3 shall be decided after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in terms of judgment dated 06.08.2025 passed in S.P.Sood's case(supra) within a period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The order so passed shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

The petition stands disposed of.
