Through the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., the prayer is made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 50, dated 16.08.2023, under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC and Section 326 IPC added lateron, registered at Police Station Jodhan, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the offences are triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, and petitioner is behind the bars since 01.07.2023, the trial is at very initial stage and it will take long time to conclude.

This Court, without commenting on the merits of the case, deem it appropriate to extend the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner, considering the fact that the alleged offences are triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, the length of incarceration and the stage of the SATYAWAN 2023.11.07 17:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing of bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of concerned Chief Judicial Magistrate/trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
