**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that an inquiry was conducted against the petitioner as well as one Sh. Amarjit Singh and both of them were inflicted punishment by the punishing authority. Sh.Amarjit Singh filed an appeal before the appellate authority i.e. the Chairman, Board of Directors, MarkFed (respondent No.1), which was accepted on 28.08.2017, whereas the appeal/representation dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-5), which was filed by the petitioner is still pending consideration.
Counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the appeal/representation dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-5).

Mr. Pawan Kumar, Advocate, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He states that he has no objection with regard to the grant of prayer of the petitioner for disposal of the appeal /representation dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-5) in a time bound manner.
In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the appeal/representation dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-5) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
