The grievance of the petitioners is that FIR No.0112 dated 05.11.2018 under Sections 323,325,148,149,506 IPC was lodged at Police Station Raja Sansi, Amritsar Rural, District Amritsar on their complaint, however, the police is not taking any concrete action towards investigating the same.

The petitioner is stated to have moved a representation (P.3) addressed amongst others to respondent No.3 in this regard, however, no action thereon has been taken.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Ramandeep Sandhu, Sr. DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of State of Punjab.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by him in the application (P.3) and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
