RITU BAHRI ACJ. (Oral) Prayer in this petition for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of letter dated 25.10.2023 (annexure P-6) vide which respondent No.1 all of a sudden, in a surprising manner, directed the petitioner to vacate Booth No.6, at CITCO's Chef Lakeview, Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh contrary to their own decision dated 10.8.2020 (Annexure P-3) vide which petitioner was permitted to operate the said booth till finalization of new tender. Learned counsel for the respondents has referred to a noting sheet dated 04.7.2023, whereby, the decision has been taken by the respondents-authorities to cancel the allotment letter issued to the VIJAY ASIJA 2023.11.02 11:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

2023:PHHC:139000-DB CWP-24545-2023 petitioner and getting the premises vacated. After perusing, the said noting sheet is returned to learned counsel for the respondents. Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is running the booth in question since the year 2010 and the direction issued to the petitioner by the respondents-authorities, he is ordered to vacate the said booth on 01.01.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions from Mr. Nand Lal, employee of the petitioner Gurdarshan Singh, who is present in Court on behalf of petitioner, submits that the booth in question shall be vacated on 01.01.2024. With the aforesaid direction, the present petition is disposed of.
