Petitioners have prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondents to allow them to change their option for grant of revised pay scales w.e.f. 01.11.2006 instead of their earlier option from 01.01.2006 in terms of the Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay Scales) Rules, 2009 in the changed circumstances as their pay has been refixed and they are suffering financial loss due to anomaly that has crept in. Notice of motion. On the asking of court, Ms. Anu Chatrath, Addl. A.G. Punjab, accepts notice. She at the outset, on instructions from Mr. Ram Pal Singh, District Gradation Officer, Jalandhar, who is present in court, submits that grievance of the petitioner shall be examined by respondent no. 2 within three months and appropriate decision shall be taken.

In view of above, no further direction is necessary. Petition is disposed of.
