(Oral) After arguing the matter for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition and the trial be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Satpal Singh, submits that out of 15 prosecution witnesses, 05 PWs have already been examined.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The Registry is directed to furnish a copy of this order to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, to ensure that the prosecution evidence is concluded within the prescribed time, granted by this Court.
