This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Sections 3, 12 (5) & (11) of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus seeking direction to be issued to the respondents for grant of parole to the petitioner so as to enable him to meet his aged parents and also to restore social ties.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, he would be satisfied in case some direction is issued to the respondents to consider and finally dispose of his application seeking parole which he had submitted in the month of May, 2025. 3.

Having regard to the limited relief prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, we do not deem it necessary to issue notice to the respondents.

In view of above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the application stated to have been submitted by the petitioner for grant of parole, in respect of which a reminder dated 14.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) had also been issued. A copy of this order be conveyed to respondents No.2 and 3 so as to enable them to do the needful expeditiously preferably within a period of three weeks from today.
