Petitioner had applied for appointment to the post of Veterinary Officer pursuant to the advertisement dated 08.03.2019 under the SC Others category-Code 77.

The categoric case of the respondent-State as culled out in the written statement dated 30.01.2020 is that the petitioner secured 137.50 marks, while the last selected candidate called after shortlisting 3 times of the 10 vacancies, had 150, a fact which is not rebutted by way of filing any replication.
