The lackadaisical and indolent approach of the respondents in deciding the petitioners' legal notice dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure P12), wherein became enclosed request to grant them the revised Pay Scale of ₹ 10,300-34,800 + Grade Pay of ₹ 3,200/- w.e.f. 01.12.2011 along with all consequential benefits including pay fixation and arrears, as per recommendations dated 12.04.2012 and 22.10.2024, has propelled the petitioners to institute the instant writ petition seeking issuance of apposite directions upon the respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that employees similarly situated to the petitioners have already been extended the benefit (supra), however, the petitioners' claim has neither been accepted, nor been rejected by the respondents/competent authority. He also draws the attention of this Court to the order drawn by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 04.08.2025, upon CWP-22404-2025, whereby DEVINDER YADAV 2025.09.04 09:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-25954-2025 directions have been passed upon the authority(ies) concerned to decide the legal notice, as moved by employees similarly situated to the petitioners, within eight weeks by passing a speaking order. 3.

The learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice and represents the respondents, submits that he has no objection, in case, a direction is passed upon the respondents to take a final decision upon the petitioners' legal notice (Annexure P-12) in a time bound manner.

In view of the above, this Court deems it appropriate to pass a direction upon the respondents/competent authority to take a final decision upon the petitioners' legal notice (Annexure P-12) within six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.

Disposed of accordingly.
