VINOD S. BHARDWAJ , J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the interest on the delayed payment of gratuity as per the Government of Haryana Finance Department memorandum dated 20.02.2002.

Learned State counsel contends that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as requisite interest already stands paid to the petitioner. Calculation whereof has been appended as Annexures R.4 and R.6 with the reply. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. However, aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel at bar is accepted. Petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. Liberty is being granted to learned counsel for the petitioner to move appropriate application, in case the claim is found to be incorrect.
