DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) It is contended that petitioner No.2 is not of marriageable age and after attaining the age of marriage, both the petitioners will marry each other. Now, they are living live-in relationship. They feel threat to their life and liberty on the part of respondent Nos.4 to 6 and so have approached this Court to provide them necessary protection. They have made representation dated 27.10.2022 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar, in this regard, but no action has been taken.

Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 only. Mr. R.S. Khaira, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3-State. Copy of paper book be supplied to him during the course of day.

Present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to provide necessary protection to the petitioners after assessing threat perception to their life.

Disposed of.
