Mr. Onkar Singh, Advocate for the complainant. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.6 dated 12.10.2016 at Police Station NRI, Moga, District Moga under Sections 498A, 420 and 406 of Indian Penal Code. The FIR was registered at the instance of Parmit Kaur, wherein it has been alleged that the petitioner alongwith other co-accused had been harassing the complainant for demand of dowry. The learned State counsel assisted by the learned counsel for the complainant has, however, informed that the investigation is complete and challan has already been presented and that charges have also been framed. ( 2 ) CRM-M-54856-2018 (O&M) Bearing the facts and circumstances in mind and also that the investigation already stands concluded, the present case is not such which would warrant custodial interrogation. The petition, as such, is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 8.1.2019 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
It is clarified that the petitioner shall not leave country without prior permission of the Court.
