HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.241 dated 02.12.2014 under Sections 452,427,323,506,148,149,120-B IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act registered at P.S Ajnala, Amritsar Rural and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise deed dated 22.08.2019. Vide order dated 21.11.2019, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Area Magistrate on 19.12.2019 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned Magistrate was directed to send a report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.

A report dated 07.02.2020 of learned SDJM, Ajnala has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Magistrate and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. MANOJ KUMAR 2022.02.18 15:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-49561 of 2019 #2# Learned Magistrate has stated that she is of the considered view that the compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No.241 dated 02.12.2014 under Sections 452,427,323,506,148,149,120-B IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act registered at P.S Ajnala, Amritsar Rural along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioners.

This shall, however, subject to the petitioners depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the Central Shaheed Ajit Singh Police Welfare Fund, Office of DGP, Punjab, Chandigarh Welfare Branch, CPO Punjab.
