-.- JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) CRM No.24023 of 2021 Prayer in the application is for preponing the date of hearing of the main petition, which is now fixed for 09.11.2021 on the ground that the matter has been compromised.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the main petition is taken up for hearing today itself. CRM No.24024 of 2021 Application is allowed.

Annexure P-13 is taken on record.

CRM-M No.54860 of 2018 This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.294 dated 18.11.2018 under Sections 406,

CRM-M No.54860 of 2018 -2498-A IPC registered at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar, Mohali. Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that the petitioner was directed to join investigation vide order dated 11.12.2018 passed by this Court, pursuant to which direction, he has already joined investigation. However, in the meantime, matter has been compromised with the complainant as would be evident from the compromise dated 29.07. 2021 (Annexure P-13) in which they have decided to part ways and file a petition for divorce under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act. The alimony amount also stands fixed.

Counsel for the complainant affirms that the matter stands compromised between the parties.

Counsel for the respondent-State on instructions from the IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation and the matter stands compromised between the parties, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 11.12.2018 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
