(ORAL) The petitioners claim to be owners and co-sharers in cultivating possession of the described land of Pana Bhitarwla, in the revenue estate of Village Jaji, Tehsil and District Sonepat, since the time of their forefathers as proprietors. Their title suit filed under Section 13-A of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 (as applicable to Haryana), has been dismissed by the Collector, Sonepat, vide order dated 30.7.2015 (Annexure P6) and the appeal filed before the Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak, has also been dismissed vide order dated 25.5.2018 (Annexure P7), affirming the findings of Collector. CWP-847-2019 (O&M) The instant writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the aforesaid order dated 30.7.2015 (Annexure P6) and the order dated 25.5.2018 (Annexure P7).

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners realising that the alternative remedy of filing revision under Section 13-AA of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 (as applicable to Haryana), is available, prays for permission to withdraw the instant writ petition to enable his clients to seek alternative remedy.
