Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing the order dated 15.03.2022 (P-1) passed by respondent No. 4, whereby 10% amount of gratuity and leave encashment of petitioner has been withheld; further to revise the pension of petitioner by promoting from Veterinary Inspector to District Veterinary Inspector.
At the outset, learned counsel on instructions from petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case Legal Notice dated 27.09.2022 (P-5) is decided expeditiously.
Notice of motion to the aforesaid limited extent. On asking of the Court, Ms. Lavanya Paul, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent(s)-State and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.
