NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents - authorities to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Superintendent as per the eligibility and qualification of the petitioner and to decide the representation dated 21.11.2022 (Annexure P-8) in a time bound manner. Further a writ of prohibition has been sought for restraining the respondents authorities to fill up the post of Superintendent by deputation during the pendency of present petition. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to grant pay of the post of Superintendent to the petitioner.
