Present:

Mr. Parminder Singh Sekhon, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Amish Sharma, AAG, Punjab **** JAGMOHAN BANSAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition is seeking direction to official respondents to protect life and liberty of petitioner and of his family members from the hands of respondent No.5. The pleaded case of the petitioner is that he sold one horse to respondent No.5 for a consideration of Rs.8 Lacs. At the time of sale, the respondent No.5 executed an affidavit dated 17.10.2022. Respondent No.5 is not satisfied with the transaction and is demanding money back. The petitioner has already used the money, thus, he is unable to refund the payment. The respondent No.5 has approached respondent No.4 i.e. SHO, Police Station, Special Staff Bathinda, District Bathinda, who is calling the petitioner and pressurizing to return aforesaid money. No FIR till date has been registered against the petitioner qua the transaction in question. The petitioner has made representation dated 30.11.2022 (Annexure P-2) to SSP, Bathinda. Notice of motion.
