   2. Learned counsel would contend that the petitioners had retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2023 and 31.03.2023 respectively, however, till date, the retiral benefits including Gratuity, CPF, Leave Encashment, Pension etc. have not been released without any justification. In this regard, legal notices dated 13.09.2023, Annexure P-8 and P-9 respectively, have been served upon respondents, which have yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are sanguine of it being considered in a MOHIT 2024.05.24 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting them an opportunity of hearing. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the limited prayer made.

4. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notices dated 13.09.2023, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon
