(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that electricity connections of the petitioners have been disconnected in view of order passed by the Collector against which the petitioners have filed appeal. Admittedly, the operation of the impugned order passed by the Collector has not been stayed till now. Petitioners, however, submit that during pendency of the appeal, respondent-Corporation has no authority to disconnect the electricity connection. They have already filed a representation in this regard before the concerned authority. Writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction that in case any such representation has been received by the authority, decision thereon be taken forthwith, in any case, not later than a week.
