* * * * RAVI SHANKER JHA, C.J. (ORAL) This is an application under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the appointment of an arbitrator. It is conjointly submitted by learned counsel for the parties that the arbitrator that had been appointed and in respect of whom issues have been raised by the applicant in the present application has resigned and the respondents have appointed a new arbitrator vide their order dated 07.07.2021. In view of the aforesaid, the present application relating to the appointment of the second arbitrator has been rendered meaningless which is accordingly disposed of granting liberty to the applicant to take up further objection(s)/proceeding(s), if so advised, in respect of the new arbitration proceedings.
