This petition under Section(s) 482 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been moved for grant of anticipatory bail DDR No.44 dated 24.05.2025 under Section(s) 118(2), 118(1), 191(3) and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, hereinafter being referred to as "BNS" only, The above-mentioned DDR is related to a case arising out of FIR No. 80 dated 21.05.2025 for the commission of offence punishable under Section(s) 115(2), 118(1), 191(3) and 190 of BNS [Section 118(2) added later on] lodged in Police Station Jhabal, District Tarn Taran, Punjab. 2.

Vide order dated 10.09.2025 the petitioner was admitted to interim anticipatory bail, subject to the condition of furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Investigating/Arresting Officer. 3.

Criminal Misc. No. M-49021 of 2025 in compliance with the above-mentioned order, the petitioner has already joined investigation and therefore, the order dated 10.09.2025 be made absolute.

In response to above mentioned contention, the learned State Counsel has submitted that in compliance with the order dated 10.09.2025, the petitioner has joined investigation, and that the custody of petitioner is no longer required for further investigation of present case. 5.

Heard.

In view of above, it is hereby observed that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for further investigation of this case.

In view of the above-mentioned observation, the present petition is hereby allowed and the order dated 10.09.2025, whereby interim anticipatory bail was accorded to the petitioner, is hereby made absolute. (Surya Partap Singh) Judge February 19, 2026 "DK"
