(ORAL) The only request made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is that his appeal dated 25.09.2017 (Annexure P-6) which has been filed by the petitioner against office order No.2037 dated 03/12.04.2017 is still pending consideration before the Board of Directors of the respondents-Corporation. The appeal was filed within the prescribed time, but even after a period of 11⁄2 years, no order has been passed by the respondents for deciding the appeal. Keeping in view the request made by the petitioner in the writ petition, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pass an appropriate order on appeal dated 25.09.2017 (Annexure P-6), filed by the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. CWP-38149-2018 -2Further, the order so passed, shall be conveyed to the petitioner immediately thereafter, within a period of seven days of passing of such order. In case, after the decision so taken, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any retiral benefits, the release of the same shall be also considered appropriately by passing an appropriate order in that regard.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
