Present appeal has been filed by the injured-claimant seeking enhancement of compensation of Rs.19,10,866/-. At the very outset, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the present appeal has been rendered infructuous as the matter stands settled before the Lok Adalat for an amount of Rs.14 lakh including interest. Learned counsel for the appellant prays that accordingly in view of the Settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat, the present appeal may be disposed of.
