**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.06 dated 22.02.2018 registered under Sections 21, 23, 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station State Special Operations Cell, Fazilka, District Fazilka. Vide order dated 27.08.2021, the status of CRM-M No.38240 of 2019 was sought to be verified as the said case was listed along with the present case on number of occasions. Learned counsel for the petitioner has sent a copy of MOHMED ATIK 2021.09.29 16:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-62306-2018 order dated 05.11.2020 passed in the aforesaid case i.e. CRMM No.38240 of 2019 titled 'Gulshan Singh vs. State of Punjab' wherein the prayer for grant of regular bail was declined and the petition was disposed with a direction to the trial Court to make an earnest endeavour to expedite the trial itself. Learned State counsel submits that out of 24 prosecution witnesses, 15 witnesses have already been examined and 29.09.2021 is the next date for remaining prosecution evidence.
In view of directions already issued in CRM-M No.38240 of 2019, no indulgence can be granted in the present case. However the trial Court shall make every endeavour to conclude the trial at the earliest.
Petition stands disposed of.
