JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Dilpreet Singh Gandhi, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction for transfer of investigation pertaining to FIR No.0482 dated 18.10.2019 registered at Police Station Thanesar Sadar, District Kurukshetra under Sections 354, 406, 498-A and 506 of Indian Penal Code to some independent agency mainly on the ground that some of the accused i.e. respondents No.8 and 11 happen to be serving Punjab Police, who are trying to influence investigation.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of allegations, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, District Kurukshetra to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.0482 dated 18.10.2019 is got investigated independently and also to ensure that respondents No.8 and 11, who are PANKAJ KAKKAR 2019.11.27 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
