Petitioner Sohan Singh has filed petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.0130 dated 23.09.2024, under Sections 406, 420 of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Kotwali, District Nabha (Annexure P-1).

As per facts of the case, Parwinder Pal Singh filed written complaint against Sohan Singh @ Billa that he had purchased a new combine make A.S.Shaktiman bearing temporary No.PB-11-TC-1302 Model 2020 and the insurance was got done from HDFC Agro General Insurance Limited having policy No.9884125 dated 19.04.2021 which later on proved to be fake policy and accused had received Rs.10,000/- in lieu of said insurance policy. Learned counsel for petitioner argued that petitioner is falsely implicated in this case. No recovery is to be effected from him. Arrest of petitioner was stayed vide order dated 19.10.2024 and he has already joined the investigation and fully cooperated. He is ready to abide by the terms of bail order. Therefore, his anticipatory bail petition may be allowed. 4.

. Therefore, no purpose would be served by sending the petitioner behind the bars. Accordingly, anticipatory bail petition filed by petitioner -Sohan Singh is allowed. He be not arrested. In case of his arrest, he be released on bail to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer concerned, subject to condition that petitioner will join investigation as and when required. He will not tamper with or interfere with investigation and will not leave country without prior permission as provided under Section 482(2) BNSS.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly as well.
