NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari/issuing directions to the respondents to grant the benefit of promotional increment(s) to the petitioner in view of the circular dated 23.04.1990 (Annexure P-1) by which benefit of 23 years promotional increment has to be given to the eligible employees. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to release the promotional increment(s) to the petitioner along with interest @ 12% per annum from the date it became due till its realization. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
