(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner in view of Punjab Government Policy dated 04.03.1999 (Annexure P-2) and to give him all the consequential benefits arising therefrom. Further a writ of prohibition has been sought for restraining the respondents from terminating the services of the petitioner or changing his service conditions from Departmental employee to that of Outsource employee.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to first approach the competent authority for redressal of his grievance.
