The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents No. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate security/Police protection to the petitioners and also directing respondents No. 4 to 8 and their family members not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

There is no evidence or appropriate instance mentioned in the instant petition to substantiate that the petitioners have any danger to their life and liberty. The representation which was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar, Punjab through e-mail on dated 30.10.2023. At this early stage, without giving any chance to the police to act upon that, the petitioner straightway approached this Court.
