The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to de-freeze his bank account maintained with Yes Bank. 2.

On 21.10.2024, the following order was passed: "Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner is running a business of supplying the spare parts that are used in solar energy systems, with the name and style of "Skyline Trading Company" having its registered office in S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali). The petitioner has never indulged in any kind of wrongful activity. He contends that the petitioner maintains an account in Yes Bank in S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) and the respondent-Bank has issued a direction to freeze the account of the petitioner on account of an alleged transaction of Rs.45,000/- that took place from the abovesaid account of the petitioner. He contends that the petitioner has never been involved in any cyber crime and that he would have PRINCE CHAWLA 2026.04.30 17:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-28240-2024 (O&M) -2no objection in case he is permitted to operate his account subject to an appropriate lien as may be ordered to be maintained by this Court.

In the event of the petitioner maintaining a lien of Rs.60,000/- in the aforesaid account and subject to any other demand/orders passed by any Competent Authority, the petitioner shall be permitted to operate his account in Yes Bank till the next date of hearing."

Learned counsel for respondent No.4 submits that petitioner is operating his account in view of interim order. The Bank has created lien of Rs.60,000/- over the aforesaid account. 4.

In the wake of statement of learned counsel for respondent No.6, the interim order dated 21.10.2024 is hereby made absolute. 5.
