The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.08 dated 18.10.2019 registered under Sections 406, 498-A, 120-B IPC at Police Station NRI Patiala, District Patiala.

Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that the matter has been compromised between the parties and quashing petition on the basis of the same has also been preferred in the High Court. 3.

By an order dated 22.11.2019, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and granted him to join investigation. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. 5.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.
