The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.136 dated 26.10.2019 under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that pursuant to order dated 02.03.2020, passed by this Court, the petitioners have joined the investigation. This fact is not disputed by learned State counsel as well. Learned counsel for the complainant has, however, opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that certain dowry articles which were entrusted to the petitioners have not yet been recovered. Demand and entrustment of certain articles to the petitioners is a disputed question of fact which would be considered when the evidence is led during trial.

Since learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, has apprised this Court that the petitioners are no longer required for further interrogation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 02.03.2020 is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
