The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 69 dated 11.05.2023 under Sections 366, 370, 376-D, 384 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 67 of the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 registered at Police Station Dayalpura, District Bathinda (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file it afresh on the same cause of action as there are certain typographical and technical errors in the petition.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, with the aforesaid liberty.

It is made clear that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, and the liberty granted, if any, is only on the request of the counsel for the petitioner and is not a direction.
