The present appeal has been filed against the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 06.07.2018 & 12.07.2018, under Sections 450 IPC, Section 6 of POCSO Act read with Section 5(m) of POCSO Act, 2012 and Section 376 IPC passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Faridabad, whereby the appellant was awarded sentence for maximum 10 years of rigorous imprisonment.

Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that during the pendency of the present appeal, the appellant has expired on 18/19 December, 2022.

In light of the above, the present appeal stands abated. 4.

Disposed of accordingly.
