Petitioner Ankit has filed instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.437 dated 23.09.2024 under Sections 22-B of NDPS Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Pinjore, District Panchkula.

Learned counsel for petitioner argued that arrest of present petitioner was stayed by this Court vide order 19.10.2024 and relevant portion thereof runs as under:- "Petitioner has filed instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.437 dated 23.09.2024 under Sections 22-B of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Pinjore, District Panchkula. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated. Recovery has already been effected from coaccused. He is not involved in any other case. He is ready to join the investigation as and when required. Therefore, he may be granted the relief of anticipatory bail.

On asking of this Court, Mr. Kanwar Sanjiv Kumar, AAG, Haryanaaccepts notice on behalf of State. He seeks an adjournment to file status report. Adjourned to 10.12.2024. In the meantime, arrest of petitioner is stayed subject to joining of his investigation." 3.

He further argued that in compliance to the aforesaid order, he has already joined the investigation on 26.11.2024. No recovery is to be effected from him. He was nominated on the disclosure statement of coaccused- Ashish Kumar. Therefore, his anticipatory bail may be allowed. 4.

Status report is filed in which it is confirmed that petitioner has joined investigation 26.11.2024.

Since petitioner has already joined the investigation, therefore, he is not required for any other purpose. He is still ready to abide by the terms and conditions of bail order.
